The Bauer Nexus N2700 Senior Hockey Skates are an excellent choice for an intermediate player looking for a better skate at a reasonable price point. Bauer used their 3D Trueform tech PU quarter package which provides an anatomical fit with a comfortable wrap around the foot. The Bauer Nexus N2700 skates also use a two piece, 40oz felt tongue with metatarsal guard protection for additional comfort and protection through the middle of the skate. Inside, Bauer used a durable microfiber liner that provides grip in sweaty conditions while wicking away moisture. The lower of the skate uses the TUUK edge holder with TUUK stinless steel runners. The edge holder features a quick release trigger system so players can swap out damaged or broken steel in seconds.
